Ribbon Cutting Ceromony
Jaeger-Unitek did officially open its new building at 115 Koomler Drive, LA Porte Indiana, with a spectacular “Ribbon Cutting Ceremony” on September 19.
Months of hard work had gone ahead– not only for the comittee (Jerry Barbour, Tammy Sneed, Cindy Hycner, Ray Young, Marc Maloney and Roger Brown) but for the whole JUS team, moving the manufacturing site in full operation despite having the increasing orders and revenue. CEO Mark Dilley is proud of his entire team around John Butler (Project Leader) and Ron Bugg (Maintenance Supervisor) “This was teamwork . Once more, I would like to thank everybody for their support. Without extra effort and extra shifts this wouldn’t have worked. The new building with its clean and proper working conditions is the best basis to face new challenges of our customers.”
Among the guests were the Jaeger family and managing directors of the Jaeger group. Indiana’s Secretary of Commerce, Victor Smith, and Mayor Milo Blair were present. A special warm welcome was shown to Mr. Naohisa Miyakawa, Owner of Tokiwa Chemical , Chiba, Japan, who traveled the long way to celebrate together with its long time friend and business partner Jaeger-Unitek.
Alongside with Jaeger-Unitek employees and their families who eagerly discovered the new manufacturing location, there were customers and suppliers joining the party. “Now we have the facility, tools and committed workforce to meet the high requirements of our customers,” says Roger Brown, “ As Mr. Dilley said ‘We are starting the second Chapter’, we are confident in increasing our revenue significantly within the next two years. “ The foundation is there.
